I reproduced Susan Scott's 1734 English sampler as a class project and decided to borrow motifs from the sampler to make a pin drum, needlebook & pinwheel. Ten pages of instructions give detailed information for stitching and step by step finishing and the needlebook is self lined.  You can do this!
